Ol Doinyo Lengai

Ol Doinyo Lengai is the 3rd highest mountain in Tanzania, rising about 2,960 m (9,711 ft.) It is located in the eastern part of the Great Rift Valley and is the only active volcanic mountain in East Africa. This mountain is of particular interest to geologists as it is the only volcano in the entire world that produces natrocabornatite lava.
