Day 1: Arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Today is departure from the selected airport to Tanzania. There will be layover along the way.
Day 2: Arrival in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Day 3 - Momella Gate 1,501 mt - Mariakamba 2,516 mt

We will depart from Arusha to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park for the necessary formalities before beginning our trek. The hiking trail begins in open grassland with an armed ranger as the possibility of seeing wildlife – giraffe, zebras, antelope, elephant and buffalo – is high. We climb steadily through the rain forest until we reach Miriakamba Huts, situated in a grassy glade.

Day 4 - Mariakamba 2,516 mt - Saddle Hut 3,571 mt
Travel / Activity
We continue climbing through the rain forest until we enter the heath zone accompanied by giant heather and other moorland vegetation. Along the ridge of the saddle, we have views of Mount Meru Crater and the Ashtray. After arriving at Saddle Huts, there is an option to hike to the top of Little Mount Meru for superb views and to further aid acclimatization.

Day 5 - Saddle Hut 3,571 mt - Summit 4,566 mt

Saddle Huts to Summit Distance: 5 km
Approx Time: 4-6 hours
Summit to Miriakamba Huts Distance: 13 km
Approx Time: 4-6 hours

Day 6 - Mariakamba 2,516 mt - Momela Gate 1,501 mt
Travel / Activity
On our last day, we will descend quickly through the tropical rainforest to Momella Gate. At the base of the mountain, our vehicle will meet us and drive us back to the hotel in Arusha.

Approx Time: 2-4 hours

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 7 - Tarangire National Park
Travel / Activity
Breakfast then departs to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch, After lunch we continue with a game drive , before we head to KARATU Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight .
Day 8 - Ngorongoro Crater
Travel / Activity
Breakfast then departs to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. Enjoy picnic lunch in the crater flour and return to Marera Valley View lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 - Fly back to your home destination.
Travel / Activity
Enjoy after breakfast picnic lunch then transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight.
