Probably the most beautiful route up Kilimanjaro, Machame is strictly tents only. It is also referred to as the “Whiskey Route” as it is better suited to the slightly more adventurous hiker.

Kilimanjaro Climbing: Manguru route

The Marangu Route has a moderate slope compared to other routes making it less difficult to ascend.

Kilimanjaro Climbing: Rongai Route

Kilimanjaro Climbing: Umbwe Route

The Umbwe Route is one of the least used routes on Kilimanjaro. Distance-wise, it is significantly shorter than the other routes whilst still allowing for a decent amount of acclimatization time.
