Activities & Experiences

Day 1: Departure to Moshi Tanzania

Travel / Activity

Depart from your selected airport to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Posible layover along the way.

Day 2: Arrival in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Travel / Activity

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport International , You will proceed with visas and make the way out to the beautiful Tanzania atmosphere. There you will meet our local The Bugs Adventures Travel representative, and transfer to a hotel.

Day 3: Coffee making tour in Kilimanjaro

Travel / Activity

Enjoy a full day in Moshi where you can take a coffee tour hike in Materuni village, one of the few villages situated directly at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The village, drenched in green vegetation, warmly welcomes visitors to explore the bounty of the land as well as the rich heritage of the Chagga people.

Day 4 - 5: Gombe Stream National Park

If you have dreamed of seeing chimps in their natural habitat you’re just about to make your dream come true.? The Bugs Adventures experts are ready to take you to this small national park which lies along the western border of Tanzania on the eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika, where it is only accessible by boat. Step into the footsteps of Jane Goodall as a guide takes you to watch groups of chimpanzees climb trees, play or nurse their babies!

Day 6-7: Mahale National Park

Travel / Activity

At a 2.5-hour drive and a boat ride from Gombe National Park, this park is a bit larger and home to roughly 900 wild chimpanzees. The park is different from most since there are no roads and you have to go on foot. Experienced guides take you on a hike through the mountains in search of groups of chimpanzees. Once found, you get plenty of time to observe these beauties and enjoy your magical experience!

Day 8: Kigoma

Travel / Activity

After an amazing time with the chimpanzees, it is time to embark on your journey back to Kigoma. The beautiful 8 hours journey by boat and car will then be in the town of Kigoma where you will take your overnight.

Day 9: Fly to Dar es Salaam

Day 10: Fly back to Home

Travel / Activity

This is your last day in Tanzania for now. Depending on your flight time, you can relax in the lodge a bit longer before our driver takes you to Dar Es Salaam International Airport for your flight home. It’s also possible to add a few days to your holiday if you like to extend your holidays to Zanzibar, Usambara Mountains, or Explore more of Dar Es Salaam city
