If you’re a cyclist and ready to explore the Beauty of African trails, These 14 days cycling adventure program takes you through Tanzania’s outstanding landscapes , culture diversity, people and wildlife
Day 1: Arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Today is departure from the selected airport to Tanzania. There will be layover along the way
Day 2: Arrival in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Day 3 - Transfer to Kidia Village, 20 kilometres.

Take in the picture postcard viewpoint at Mawa Seminary of Kilimanjaro with views of Mount Kilimanjaro standing right in front of you. Overnight at Marangu Hotel.
Day 4 - Biking From Marangu,52 kilometres.
Travel / Activity
After breakfast, we start biking from Marangu, the most famous starting point to climb Kilimanjaro, to Tarakea just by the Kenyan border. Dinner and overnight at Tarakea.
Day 5 - Rongai to West Kilimanjaro,57 kilometres.

Day 6 - The Savanna grassland plain of the Masaai land,66 kilometres.

This is a long and hard day. Biking through savannah land down and up small hills to the plains of the Masaai land, cross the north of Arusha National Park with a beautiful view of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Africa Amini Life Lodge.
Day 7 - Ngarenanyuki to Longido,34 kilometres.

After breakfast, start from Ngare na Nyuki, take a slight turn right to the main Namanga – Nairobi road and continue to Longido. On our way we have the possibility of sporting zebras on the 104 highway to Longido. Bush picnic lunch and continue to Longido Jojoledea Home B&B for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 - Hike to Longido Mountains

An early morning breakfast and start hike to Longido Mountains and introduction to Masaai culture at Longido Cultural Tourism Project. We come back for lunch and take an afternoon rest. Evening around 4:00 we continue with the Longido town cycling tour and sunset and head back to Jojoledea Home B&B.
Day 9 - Biking to Kitumbaine, 52 kilometres.
Travel / Activity
Breakfast starts at 6:00 then starts biking to Kitumbeini village. We cycle through the beautiful savanna grassland passing by the Maasai villages to Kitumbaine Mountain. Bush picnic lunch on our way , dinner and overnight at Kitumbaine.
Day 10 - Biking Gilai Gilai Mountain, 34 km.

It is another day that we will be cycling in Maasai Land with a beautiful view of the Ol Doinyo Lengai, Kitumbaine Mountain and Gilai Gilai Mountains. Dinner and overnight at Gilai Bomba.
Day 11 - Drive to the Shimo La Mungu, 20 kilometres.

Breakfast then drive to Shimo La Mungu, a swahili name that translated to the Hole Of God. This is a small volcanic crater on the slope of an active volcanic mountain of Oldoinyo Lengai. From here we start our cycling on a sandy and dusty road to Engaruka basin. Due to the heat, dust and sand, prepare for a little bit of a tough day. Bush picnic lunch served on the way, Dinner and overnight at Engaruka chini Guesthouse.
Day 12 - Cycling across Masaai villages/Rift Valley, 51 kilometres.

This is a very scenic and long day, we will still be cycling across the Masaai villages on the escarpment of the Rift Valley. Descend along the rift valley escarpment down to the shores of Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at Jungle pearl Resort in Lake Manyara .
Day 13 - Game drive - Ngorongoro Crater
Travel / Activity
Breakfast then departs to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact caldera, forming a spectacular bowl of about 260 square kilometers, with sides up to 610 m deep. It is recognized as the 8th wonder of the world and is frequented by 20,000 to 30,000 wild animals at any given time. Enjoy picnic lunch in the crater flour and return to Karatu Marera valley view lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 14 - Game drive - Tarangire National park - Arusha
Travel / Activity
Following breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch within the park. The Park contains regions of dense bush, made up of tall grasses and ancient baobab trees. The land is hilly and dominated by the impressive Tarangire River, which attracts many migrant animals during the dry months. Tarangire has quite a reputation for elephant “reunions”- when different herds somehow agree to reconvene in one area at the end of the rainy season. Day 15. Depart Tanzania back to your home country.
Travel / Activity
Transfer to Kilimanjaro international Airport for your flight back home . It’s also possible to add a few days to your holiday if you like to extend your holidays to Zanzibar or a few days in Arusha / Moshi town.
